Criteria

P wave: Criteria for a ventricular event (often absent before QRS).

P-Q(R) interval: Reflects ventricular-origin conduction (usually no true PR).

QRS complex: Deformed/wide, typical of a ventricular focus.

The onset of the QRS begins after the T wave of the previous beat.

The R0–R1 interval is shortened (premature).
